Neo vs Me

As Morpheus had onc sid to Neo in the training chamber…

Morphues : “how did I beat u??”

Neo : “u are fast!!”

Morpheus: “U think me being faster or stronger has anything to do with my muscles in THIS place??.........U THINK THTS AIR U ARE BREATHING NOW??”

These lines were the ones which had inspired me through out my JEE times…I had always seen myself as Neo Fighting the Machines Alone…and I know I am not the only one who was inspired by this movie!

MATRIX was like a cult movie for many spec-wearing geeks(as they are called) which actually made them feel like a person who knows something I wrong with the world and though he knows what it is…he can’t pin-point it!!..” unfortunately no one can b told what the matrix is…u have to see it for yourself!!”

Now times have changed and with it..everything else has..even me!

Now “The Wall”impresses me more than a “Fanaa”!!

The music interest has changed from the likes of “Bachstreet boys” to “Pink Floyd” and “Jimmy Page”.

Now, a Navy-Cut pack is preferred over a Chocolate bar…. And we have Whisky for starters in hotels!!

I no-longer watch Matrix with as much zeal as i used to when I was a teenager ( tht I can proudly say tht I am an undiluted adult now!!).But,watching it again one lonely night sitting alone in my dark room…I suddenly found myself looking to a wide-eyed fat boy sitting in front of the T.V trying to understand how did Neo make it … and why can’t he???
